NEW DELHI: Shares of Just Dial gained over 6 per cent in early trade on Wednesday after HDFC Mutual Fund purchased bulk shares of the company via bulk deal mechanism on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on Tuesday.
The scrip was trading 6.24 per cent up at Rs 401 around 10.30 am (IST) on NSE, while Nifty 50 index was down 52 points, or 0.53 per cent, at 9899.60 at around the same time.
The NSE bulk deal data shows that HDFC Mutual Fund bought 32,06,663 shares of Just Dial on Tuesday at a price of Rs 375.
On the BSE, 4.05 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.01 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
