                              Petronet LNG hit a fresh 52-week high today.

                              The BSE Midcap index was trading 138 points up at 15,893 around 1.02 pm (IST), while benchmark Nifty50 index was 75 points up at 10,009 and Sensex was 216 points up at 31,904.

                              Adani Enterprises (up 2.94 per cent), Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (up 2.91 per cent), Bajaj Finserv (up 2.91 per cent), Havells India (up 2.58 per cent), Sun TV Network (up 2.54 per cent), Indian Bank (up 2.52 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories (up 2.41 per cent), Container Corporation of India (up 2.35 per cent) and Central Bank of India (up 2.31 per cent) also gained over 2 per cent in the mid-cap index.

                              Benchmark indices remained in the positive zone, backed by firm Asian cues.

                              Bank, auto and FMCG stocks were leading the gainers’ pack.

                              IndusInd Bank (up 5.20 per cent) was topping the Nifty chart, followed by Gail, Tata Power and YES Bank.

                              On the contrary, Bharti Airtel, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Infosys and Vedanta at the bottom in the Nifty index.

                              In the Nifty50 pack, 41 stocks were trading in the green, while 10 stocks were in red.

                              On BSE, 1,541 stocks were advancing whereas 918 stocks were lagging.
