                      On the other hand, Nagarjuna Oil Refinery, Religare Enterprises, Shrenuj & Company, TV Vision and VKS Projects were among the 26 stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows in trade so far.

                      The benchmark BSE Sensex dropped over 110 points today, on fresh spell of selling by investors, taking weak cues from other Asian markets on escalating geopolitical tensions after North Korea’s latest nuclear test yesterday.

                      The index had gained 503.84 points in the previous three sessions.

                      Nifty50 shed over 30 points to slip below 9,950 level.

                      Brokers said apart from profit booking in recent gainers by investors, a weak trend in Asian markets on mounting geopolitical tensions after North Korea said it had successfully tested a hydrogen bomb, pulled down the indices.

                      Nifty50 index was trading 30 points lower at 9,944, while the 30-share Sensex was 112 points down at 31,780 around 10.25 am (IST).

                      In the Nifty50 pack, 17 stocks were trading in green, while 33 stocks were in red.

                      On BSE, 1,016 stocks were advancing whereas 1,077 stocks were lagging.
