                          Divi’s Lab (0.15 crore), Tata Power (0.15 crore), Bank of Baroda (0.14 crore), Power Finance Corp (PFC) (0.13 crore) and Hindustan Petroleum (0.11 crore) were also in the league.

                          Oil & gas and pharma companies were dominating the pack.

                          Domestic equity markets opened on a positive note amid mixed Asian cues.

                          Pharma, realty, bank and auto stocks witnessed a fresh spell of buying.

                          However, IT stocks plunged. Wipro (down 4.43 per cent) cracked over 4 per cent on NSE.

                          In the Nifty index, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 3.71 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 3.26 per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation (up 2.78 per cent) gained up to 3 per cent.

                          Axis Bank (up 1.70 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 1.61 per cent), Bank of Baroda (up 1.56 per cent), Lupin (up 1.30 per cent), Hindalco Industries (up 1.17 per cent) and Cipla (up 1.10 per cent) gained over 1 per cent.

                          Benchmark Nifty50 index was 42 points up at 10,121, while the 30-share Sensex was 116 points up at 32,302 around 9.45 am (IST).

                          In the Nifty50 pack, 40 stocks were trading in the green, while 11 stocks were in red.

                          On BSE, 1,265 stocks were advancing whereas 453 stocks were lagging.
